Recently renovated with a keen eye to the preservation of the
traditional features of the old villa -such as the stone facade
and inner walls, the terracotta brick and wooden floors and
the impressive chestnut beam ceilings - Rustico Sara provides
guests with comfortable and welcoming communal areas stilishly
fitted with well appointed and carefully restored period furniture.
Besides the entrance-hall/reception area, behind which is a
wood burning oven to bake
delicious home made pizzas and cakes, the ground floor comprises
a large hall with scenic windows and fitted with comfortable
sofas, TV-SAT set and HI-FI system with CD player, where guests
can spend pleasant convivial or relaxing hours.
The villa boast an bright brickwork
kitchen equipped with a five burner cooker with electronic ignition
system, microwave oven, two fridges, a dishwasher. The kitchen
is hallmarked by a large fireplace and an old stone sink.
Here in the morning Bed
& Breakfast guests are served a plentiful traditional
breakfast with freshly ground coffee, typical local cakes, genuine
honey, excellent home made jams and preserves, fresh fruit in
season, often just picked from the many fruit trees of the garden.
By summer 2005 the management will
also make available a laundry room.
