- Pinocchio
Park at Collodi
The name of Collodi, a small town in Valdinievole, is famous
worldwide as the pen name of Carlo Lorenzini, the "father"
of Pinocchio. Allegedly, "The Adventures of Pinocchio"
is the most widely printed and translated non-religius book
in the world. Accomplished over three decades, between 1956
and 1987, the Pinocchio Park is not the usual entertainment
park, but rather an open air art park, where a number of leading
sculptors have lent their talent to create a unique themed collection
of modern artworks in a beautiful natural setting. http://www.pinocchio.it
